As per the schedule displayed on the website of Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) , submission of online option form of centralised admission process (CAP) round-I will start on Thursday. Mahajan said the colleges that had moved court were not included in the admission process.

The Bombay High Court will hear the petition filed by four institutes in the city, including two engineering colleges against AICTE's decision to detain their letter of approval (LoA). The institutes have claimed their LoAs have been withheld by AICTE without giving any reason. These institutes were shown approved on the website of AICTE on June 30. There are 24 such institutes, including management and engineering colleges across the state. " If the court order goes in favour of the colleges, DTE will include the seats of these colleges in the subsequent CAP rounds," said Mahajan.
