A man day is the amount of work performed by an average worker in a day. The targeted beneficiaries of the anganwadi scheme are the most vulnerable groups of population including children up to six years and expectant and lactating mothers. Nabard officials said that in the current fiscal the total amount of loan sanctioned to the state government under RIDF XV is Rs565.09 crore which includes funds for rural drinking water supply schemes, roads and bridges, MI and anganwadi schemes.
