Feng Shui Tip no. 17

This is the last part about the big and the small Lucky Bamboo, but you will get much more information about plants and other chi enhancers in the next articles.

The big bamboo is an amazing plant with a very peaceful and spiritual energy. It teaches us the ultimate wisdom: to be flexible and hollow (open to receive), so that the energy can flow freely and nourish the whole being.
It is also a very popular and potent symbol for longevity and strength; its flexibility shows the ability to go through all kinds of stormy weather.

To have real or at least a painting of bamboos in your house or office is considered good Feng Shui.
To hang bamboo stems in your shop will create excellent protection and good fortune; the business will survive in hard times and will flourish in good times.
The vitality of the Lucky Bamboo reactivates the energy in stagnant corners or locations and therefore it is widely used in Feng Shui as a remedy and enhancement. Wherever there is a dead corner (at least with a little light - as mentioned in the former articles, the Lucky Bamboo doesn't require much light, it even can survive in artificial light -) you can place that Bamboo and give life to this area.
It is also an appropriate remedy to separate the elements: i.e. if in the kitchen the sink - symbolizing the Water element - and the stove - symbolizing the Fire element - are too near together on the counter top, you can avoid a clash between the elements by placing a Lucky Bamboo - symbolizing the Wood element - in between acting as a divider between the elements.

Be as Lucky as the Bamboo wishes you
