Feng Shui Tip no. 16

Hi, interested Feng Shui reader!
This week I'll explain more about the background of the Lucky Bamboo as this is a frequently used in Feng Shui installations as an enhancement or a remedy.

The plants grow naturally under the shady canopies of taller rainforest trees, so they grow well at an indoor location with bright, but indirect light. Too much direct sun will cause burning of the leaves.

Taking care of Lucky Bamboo is fairly easy and almost care free, you just have to put it in a few inches of clean water, really water nourish them absolutely, they don't require earth to grow or any fertilizer. But make sure that the roots are always covered with water!

Some of the Lucky Bamboos stalks were specially grown in unusual twisted, curved or spiralling form, which looks very mysterious, but also enhancing. These curved shapes are man-made; the plant does not grow like that naturally. They are laid on their sides with light directed from the top and they will grow towards the direction of the light. It is a time-consuming process to rotate them regularly to encourage the spiralling form. This process is quite labour-intensive which justifies the higher prices for this kind of Lucky Bamboo.

The Lucky Bamboo is a perfect gift for any occasion for all people you care for. Sometimes it is said, a Lucky Bamboo ONLY CAN BE GIFTED from a good friend or relative. Please don't wait for someone, who finally one day will give a Lucky Bamboo to you as a present and miss the opportunity to bring fortune and happiness to your home: you of course can buy it also for yourself and benefit from the good luck immediately!
Lot's of luck wishes you
