Feng Shui Tip no. 13By Homes in Harmony, Section Homes In Harmony
The last article dealt with the outside area of the main door, today we will be more concerned about the inside of the maindoor and again about the maindoor itself.
The front door symbolizes the mouth of your home; the chi enters here and nourishes your home as you take the food into your body to nourish it.
A big maindoor, easily to find and distinctive allows more Chi than a small, narrow, dark or difficult to find one. Adequate lighting to make your maindoor good visible is also as important as nice shiny brass numbers and hardware to attract the positive energy and attention. The door should open easily and without squeaking sound. If the Chi is obstructed or impaired at the point of entering your house, its ability to energize every area of your life, i.e. wealth, relationships, health will also be limited.
In most of the households is the polite habit to take off ones shoes before entering a home, so usually they are standing criss-cross in front of the door or inside a small corridor. This hinders the flow of good energy into your house; better provide a shoe shelf for your own and the guest's shoes or at least take care that they are placed nicely along the wall and not standing in the direct way for you and the energy flow. Next week we will continue with more Feng Shui related suggestions who to make your entrance more inviting. Lots of Chi flowing into your home wishes you Karina S.V.
