Feng Shui Tip of the Week No. 12By Homes in Harmony, Section Homes In Harmony
In the former tips we were concerned about the main door itself, today we have a closer look on the way leading towards your maindoor.
If you own a house and a way leads through a little greenery towards your entrance you can invite Chi by adding colourful flowers (except thorny varieties) and a free view to your entrance door, because Chi increases with the attention it receives! The more people see your house and be delighted by your garden-design, the more Chi will be generated and will be at your disposal.
High hedges or big, solid gates hinder the sight and therefore also the flow of Chi. Motorbikes or garbage bins, huge plants or sharp-edged posts should not obstruct the straight view (and energy flow!) towards the maindoor. Also shoes spreading widely in front of the door count obstructive for the Chi flow, better provide a shoe-shelf beside the door.
Paths should not be straight, as the Chi would "shoot" quickly towards your home; instead let it meander and curve through your little front-garden. A curved path encourages Chi to move more slowly and freely. If you already have straight paths, then allow plants to grow over them so the Chi can circulate freely around them. As a general rule the more energy can enter the garden, the more you will receive in the house - and the better becomes your life. So firstly you can ensure that entrances are kept clear, clean and unobstructed, so that the energy can flow easily into the garden and home. A happy home full of good energy wishes you Karina S.V.
