Sorry forgot to add a few more tips. Why Pune of all places? Ahmedabad has equivalent care at much cheaper rate. Someone I knew had gutka cancer treated there( surgery/chemo/radiation etc) all at very reasonable cost. Good Luck

Dont know any names in particular but Budhrani inlac, Jahangir and Ruby are good.
for hematological(blood) cancers Sahyadri has Dr Shashi Apte. he is good but darn too expensive. Both him and Sahyadri Hospital charge at least twice the industry norms for similar treatment.
Check out Aditya Birla in Thergaon/Wakad area. Its a new place.

Beware of who you go to. Talk to them upfront on cost issue. Ethics are running scares among doctors and they tend to capitalize on others misery.(experience talking).
Ask them the whole plan of treatment, total cost stagewise cost, get regular second consult to make sure you are not being misguided/cheated.
Most importantly get involved. Ask why when how etc for each thing. Get your self a bit educated using cancer websites from web. Have a friend / family who is into healthcare help you do your homework.
Good luck and my best wishes and prayers for your uncle for a speedy recovery.
