Cheated by auto drivers at airport

Recently, I was looking for an autorickshaw from Pune airport to Vimannagar (near Weikfield) when the driver asked for double of the amount that it normally takes. A ride that should have cost me just Rs 40 would have cost me Rs 80 -- as bad as being robbed in broad daylight. Asking at the prepaid auto stand did not help matters, as they also said it would cost Rs 100. This happened at 11.30 in the morning, giving the drivers no reason to ask for `return fare' or anything of the sort. Finally, I came out of the premises and looked for an auto. The ride cost me exactly Rs 41. What can one say about such dishonesty?
