Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) Releases Phone Book 2007

The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on Monday released the main directory and phone book 2007 of the Pune circle. The directory is corrected up to August 31 of this year.

Speaking on the occasion, Chandra Prakash, chief general manager (CGM) of Maharashtra circle of BSNL, said that residential entries are combined for Pune and Pimpri hinchwad areas for the convenience of the customers.

The Marathi version of the directory will be available for distribution in December and customers have the option of opting for either the English or the Marathi directory. The English directories will be distributed in all urban and rural centres from November 20.

The distribution of directories will take place at various centres including the East area (exchanges of Cantonment GT road, Kondhwa, Hadapsar, DTO Gadital, CTO Pune, Bhavani Peth, Yerwada, Vimannagar, Vadgaon Sheri and Nagar road); Central area (exchanges of PGMT Bajirao road, Dhankawadi, Satara road, Anandnagar, Hingne and Dhayari); West area (exchanges of Savarkar Bhavan, Shivajinagar, MKR, Kothrud Bhelkenagar, Kothrud DTO, Bhusari Colony, Warje, Uttam Nagar, Model Colony, Khadki, Aundh, Baner and Bavdhan); and Pimpri Chinchwad (exchanges of Chinchwad, Wakad, Chandra Bhavan, Akurdi, Bhosari, Sanghvi, Dehuroad, Talegaon Dabhade and Lonavla).

To securing a copy of the directory, customers have to bring the latest paid landline telephone bill and the old directories of 2005 and 2006. Those who do not possess any of the old volumes have to submit an acknowledgement form in perfoma at the mentioned centres.
